Join us for a weekly Beginner Bachata class - designed to give you a strong, confident foundation from day one.Class focuses on essential steps, timing, partner connection, and clean technique, so you feel comfortable and capable on any social dance floor. Brand new to dance? You’re welcome to this absolute beginners friendly class. If you've taken a few classes but want sharper fundamentals, this is also the right place as it helps you to colidify your basics properly. Our instructors break down technique clearly, keep the class structured, and make sure you’re progressing each week in a supportive, engaging environment. * The Class instructor | Learn Bachata from a Grand Champion! Aciela combines her deep love for Dominican culture with years of professional training and teaching experience to bring you a class that is as authentic as it is fun. She is an award-winning instructor who's dedicated to the roots of authentic Dominican Bachata style. With certifications from world-class masters and a trophy case featuring a ULDC Gold Medal, Aciela brings authentic culture and technical precision to every class. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or a seasoned pro, she’ll help you find your unique voice and confidence on the dance floor. *No partner needed, You don't have to find a partner to attend class with, we rotate class participants so everyone gets balanced practice and learns to adapt with different partners. *Shoes? Wear comfortable shoes that allow you to pivot smoothly on a tile surface. Flat bottoms to medium heels work best. Shoes with ankle support are strongly recommended. * Creating a Safe Space To maintain a respectful and productive learning environment, please refrain from giving feedback to other students during class. If you have questions or need clarification, the instructor is always happy to help. We support the idea that dance roles (lead and follow) are not tied to gender.
